Chris Yates
West’s first Managing Director, and presenter of the Sunday evening classical music show. Chris came to Radio West from Radio 210 in Reading, and left the station (according to Johnnie Walker’s autobiography, his removal was forced by the IBA) in early 1983. I have no news of him since.
