Margaret Gilmore
A member of West’s original news team, Margaret joined the station (I believe) from Radio Orwell in Ipswich. Margaret has had a long and successful career in journalism and was until recently the BBC's Home Affairs Correspondent. She is now a freelance writer, journalist and analyst.
In late 1982 or early 1983, Margaret was accused by the Bristol Evening Post of having an affair with Dave Cash. An apology was hastily printed!
