Mike Ganley
Mike did some shifts on Radio West towards the end, appearing on Saturday and Sunday lunchtimes. He worked as a lecturer at Stroud College and, after running several successful RSLs under the name Easy FM, became the launch Managing Director of Stroud’s FM 107 The Falcon. This station had a very diverse sound, with a number of specialist programmes, It became more mainstream under the name Star 107, but was eventually closed by UKRD when permission for programme-sharing with the Cheltenham Star was refused. Mike now presents a show called The Crooked Road for the community station Swindon 105.5.
